ThomasMc.com is a somewhat snarky daily look at political news and commentary, from a reality-based perspective.

Yeah, I know, reality isn't very popular these days, especially here in conservative Colorado Springs (home of James Dobson's Focus on the Family, et. al.), but I have a hunch that, when things finally get bad enough here in America, reality is going to set in and bite all those conservatives in the ass.

I started this site as a way to vent off some steam in the run-up to the Iraq war, but have since learned that pointing out conservative hypocrisy isn't only theraputic, it's fun! And, unlike some other topics, there's just so much to work with, every day.

Btw: the name isn't some ego thing, I had the domain name years before I started the website. I've just never thought up a nifty-neato name for it. Suggestions welcome.

This site isn't for everyone, and I don't claim it's the best source for news & commentary. But many people don't have time to read hundreds of articles a day, or even follow 50 links looking for something interesting. I include only the most compelling articles I find that day; and no, I don't agree with everything they say. If I find something challenging I'll include it, even if I don't agree with it. The answer to the takeover of this country by right wing sheep isn't to create a flock of left wing sheep. Think for yourself.
